I'm sure examples like this happen all the time but....here it is. Ava's cousin gave her a fake $20 bill from a monopoly set. She asked me today if she could put it in her bank. I told her sure, "but you do know that's fake right babe?" Av said, "no, why would he give me this?" I said, "just to play with...its fun." "so I can't take it to the store?" "nope." She got over it....but I couldn't help but think about false hope. There is one way of salvation....one real currency....the blood of Christ. Hope in God. If you don't, you are that girl with a fake $20 at the store, pretty as it may be....you're not paying for a thing.
